Logitech G110 gaming keyboard does it’s job

A few weeks back we played with the Logitech G19 keyboard and were well impressed by the features and blown away by the pretty much pointless LCD screen, yes there is an LCD screen on a keyboard. What is not so cool is the R2500 price tag that comes with the specific keyboard. The solution is easy, release a keyboard pretty much the same as the G19 just without the LCD screen; that is what the G110 is.

The kit is expected to be available in the South Africa in January for around R999 which is a steal for what you are actually getting. Now just to get my hands on one.

Keyboard for the Brand Junkies

Brand Keyboard

Brand Keyboard

Every now and then we get a really cool gadget that graces our blog. This however must be one of the coolest and one of those pure ingenious ideas to date. Meet the brand keyboard!

The person who created this idea really captures how powerful brands have become and how instantly the human brain car figure out F for Facebook and Z for Zippo. Check out the “artists” site.

It is a pitty that it is actually not real but I would definitely take one. It would be a bit hard for those single finger typers who spend half the time already looking for the key to push.

Great idea we think, but I really can’t imagine typing on a keyboard that has some of its keys moved around might take a bit of getting used to and lets not forget those irritating time when your keyboard thinks it is actually a mouse and doesn’t do what you want to do.

This product was invented by Ari Zagnoev and has already been sent to Wichita State University to be “extensively tested”. I don’t know how well this product is going to do but there may be someone willing to type while the click.

ASUS reveals PC in a Keyboard

Asus Eee Keyboard

Asus Eee Keyboard

ASUS announced earlier this year that they would be building a computer that fits into a keyboard. Really?

ASUS have revealed their prototype for what will be dubbed the ASUS Eee Keyboard and first impressions are good. It looks really good and has many cool features that will make it a neat thing to have on your desktop.

So we now know it is not just an ordinary keyboard. It has a full PC inside it, has a mic input and a headphone jack, good old monitor output (rumours of HDMI ports) and a 5 inch 800 x 480 pixel touch screen display/track pad.

Asus should be releasing a new updated version in a few weeks and we wait to see what else have been done as they come closer to the finished product.
